Hamatora was overall an averagely decent anime… Well, it had quite decent humour, quite decent animation, quite decent plot, quite decent characters… It just wasn’t a waste of time, and gave quite decent insights on a situation with two conflicting races. I just didn’t enjoy the frequent changing of scenes because of the unpleasant sound.

As the saying goes:
You Only Live Once
In any case, life is limited and so, we should all enjoy it to the fullest, because no one knows when we will be unable to enjoy life any longer. #YOLO
This is just my opinion, but to live life to the fullest, it does not only require us to do the things we enjoy doing the most, but it should at least be meaningful to a certain extent.
If playing online games is one’s hobby, it would be most ideal if one could find a method to utilise one’s knowledge and skills about that game, and contribute to the society. For example, they could do tutorials, gameplay or even just character art.
At the end of the day, they would have done something and not just wasted their precious life away.
Personally, I watch anime, and my way of making it meaningful, is to absorb the values they impart and share with others :3

Re: Hamatora Episode 9
This mirrors my previous post on Tokyo Ghoul, whereby two seemingly identical races have a vast difference in perspective.

Although Hamatora and Tokyo ESP have different plots, they revolve around the presence of two groups of people with different abilities in society. And coincidentally, both have situational irony in them.
For Hamatora, the mother absolutely hates Minimum Holders because she loves her son a lot and feels that the presence of Minimum Holders is causing an unfair disadvantage of him and the other ‘normal’ people. HOWEVER, her son has actually become a Minimum Holder himself.
For Tokyo ESP, the mother is fearful of espers because of the evil intentions and damage caused by a small group of espers. Although not all espers are bad, just because of a few black sheep, causes a hasty generalisation among all espers. But little does she know that her son is an esper himself. This anime is still in progress so there are still many details left to be known.
